    Being a part of one of Golf Digest’s Top 100 golf courses in America was one of the most enjoyable positions I have had in my career. When I first joined the team in 2008, the course was undergoing a major renovation after a recent ownership change. Shortly after the renovation was complete, it was announced that OTN would be hosting the 2014 U.S. Senior Open in 2014. Preparing for an event of that magnitude takes years, and I was a part of that process during the majority of my time at the organization.I was responsible for all of the club’s financial operations including the preparation of monthly management reporting to the ownership group, member billing and receivables, processing payroll and managing employee benefits and human resources, risk management, maintaining membership contracts and records, assisting with the coordination of club tournaments and events, cash management, budgeting and forecasting and several other duties as needed. My favorite part of working at Oak Tree National was being part of delivering a first class experience to the membership of the club. I learned a great deal about doing things with great attention to detail and excellence.

    My last role at Dobson Communications was the most challenging, and also the most rewarding. Our company had grown to over 2,500 employees in 17 states and we had over 1,000 sales employees and agent commission contracts with over 600 dealers. During this time, I led the Payroll, Commissions and Financial Reporting teams which included a total of 12 staff members. Together we administered a sales compensation program using an in-house data warehouse developed by our Information Services team. Our teams worked very well together and we were able to provide detailed analysis of results and trends to the Sales and Customer Care departments which helped us provide a better experience to over 1 million Dobson Communications customers.Dobson Communications was acquired by AT&T in 2007. After 10 years with the company, I helped coordinate the last transitions of duties to other departments within AT&T in June, 2008. It was truly a pleasure to be part of such a great company during such an exciting time.

We worked a lot of long hours together and formed long-lasting friendships during these years.
