My role at Actua is to support and strengthen Actua's network and to help build Actua's national capacity as a leading science and technology outreach organization for youth. I manage an amazing team of people, and we have stewarded the growth of the network by 25% over 5 years. From Whitehorse to St. John's, we work with an incredible network of program.

Responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day and project work of the association in meeting its mission, which is to build capacity for its members to inspire a creative and prosperous Canada through science and technology engagement. As the association's first-full-time staff member, I was responsible for developing, from the ground up, many processes.

Volunteer Board position responsible for coordinating all racing activities at the club. Managed a structure of more than 50 volunteers to organize summer racing events for more than 150 boats.

My role was to interact with the visitors to the centre by answering questions, seeking out visitors to help facilitate exhibit material, as well as to perform demonstrations and workshops.

Constructed debates, discussions quizzes and other learning aids in a series of tutorials to augment the lectures and readings for approximately 30 students in two courses; HPS 280 - History of Science for Engineers and ENV 321 - Approaches to Environmental Issues.
