Complete operations management of busy sports and events venue.

• Consultant for new restaurant / deli / bar opening.

• Responsible for all aspects of running the business including; bar area, cellar, restaurant management and bedrooms in a busy, privately owned, food led, traditional, 80 cover coaching inn committed to local produce.

• Responsible for the selling, booking, coordination and pricing of events, weddings and conference spaces for 8 large hotels within the Ramada Jarvis brand.

Assisting in the facilitation of events, concerts, weddings and banquets for up to 500 guests in a large, historical site with 4 banqueting suites.

In this position i performed in all areas of the business from opening to closing including:• Stock controls and ordering• Staff training• Shift Management and staffing costs• Working to strict costs and percentages.• Marketing and Local awareness• Events and function management• Cooking and preparing food when necessary

In 2008 I started my own wedding consultant business providing information of Kent based wedding suppliers to people getting married in Kent. During this project I made contact with over 500 UK based companies and on 14th September 2008,held the first Wedding Show in Dover Town Hall for over 10 years.Due to personal circumstance I was unable to carry on this venture, but gained a wealth of knowledge of local businesses and a network of suppliers.

• Responsible for the running of the bar area, restaurant and kitchen in the owners absence in a busy, privately owned 14 bedroom, 120 cover, inn on the white cliffs at Dover.• Setting up the carvery and sole responsibility of Sunday trading.• Sole responsibility of procuring coach parties and tour lunches.• Responsible for all booking enquiries and the hotel booking system.• VIP events.• Assisting the kitchen when necessary.
