I begin every day seeking positivity, some days it comes natural, others I have to act first. Positivity is a value that drives mind set, which drives action. The belief in a positive, strength focused mindset builds confidence of which weaknesses are considered opportunities for growth and necessary tools of self awareness. My vision of achievement is identified through the development of new and existing relationships, whether a momentary encounter or long term connection. Giving our best, even when not at our best will leave every encounter looking forward to the next. We are nothing, if we aren't acting to positively influence. Going through a single day without building others up leaves us with an empty arsenal in that days positive reflection. COVID-19 has disrupted my typical day, typical influence and typical reflection. COVID-19 has not disrupted the value I place on positivity. On the contrary, it has revealed the impact of a tiny light in a warehouse of darkness. A very slight gesture of positivity can fully infiltrate a negative forum. In every role that I have been responsible, both personal and professional, I have believed in the development of others. Whether a client's downward trend or a child's skinned knee, both are equally as relevant in the moment and requiring our time and attentions. We need to be present, in tune and ready to act. The time and attentions we offer others and the manner in which we perform them, act as building blocks of relationship development. No matter the industry or experience, relationship development is the foundation of success. A positive mindset is hungry to understand and meet the needs of others which ensure proactive response with flexibility in action.........and lastly, the value of others. I value positivity and own a strength focused mindset. I thrive on the diversity in character and action of others, making me a valuable asset to any organization in any industry.
