I work with properties in all asset classes, including multifamily, industrial, retail, office, medical, self-storage, government, parking, and hospitality, with projects across the US. I am a frequent author and speaker on commercial real estate topics, particularly real estate investing. I am proud to serve as the President-elect for CREW Chicago, with a mission to advance the commercial real estate industry by advancing the power and success of women.I began my career as Law Clerk to the Honorable David H. Coar at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois. I then spent 14 years in private practice with large law firms as a bankruptcy and corporate restructuring lawyer, where I represented institutional bondholders, commercial landlords and other creditors. I then went in-house as VP and Assistant General Counsel at a Prudential-owned real estate investment trust (REIT) specializing in industrial facilities throughout the U.S. and Mexico. While I no longer actively practice law, my skills working with clients and making complex ideas easily understandable set me apart as a businesswoman.I am an active leader in the community, holding local and national positions with the ADL over several decades, as well as leadership roles with CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) where I currently serve on the Chicago Board of Directors as President-Elect.
