  • Traceworthy Consulting
    Founder
Traceworthy Consulting Jun 2019 - Present
    Bali Province, Indonesia
Those who know me would attest to my passion for helping others. You might hear some funny stories about the variety of people, businesses and even creatures that I rescue. Underneath the laughter are many more serious stories about the sacrifices I have made to ensure others have the opportunity to live a life they love.Yes, it sounds like a cliche. However, when you look over my shoulder, you will not see a queue of people wanting to do the kind of work I do. People who are willing to get down in the dirt to bring hope to the forlorn are a rare and valuable breed. It is those people who can see a future that others think impossible. It is those people who create something entirely new and bring that future into reality. It is those people who never give up.TraceWorthy Consulting is a 100% foreign-owned company based in Indonesia. It is the full self-expression of me and my work - leading others to fulfill on their dreams. For more information, visit www.traceworthy.com

    Indonesia
In the business of making the world a better place, Cocoon Capital Investments has offices in Indonesia, Australia, and Mauritius. Our current project revolves around national healthcare systems. With Governments everywhere under pressure to provide health services on extremely lean budgets, Cocoon is introducing a remote monitoring system that allows non-critical care outside of hospitals. The most relevant solution in our suite today is a way to manage people testing positive for COVID-19, which substantially reduces transmission of the virus to frontline workers, other hospital patients and the community at large. Our solution is a wireless clinical biosensor and the incredible artificial intelligence behind our monitoring system. The biosensor is already FDA approved and will soon be approved in a variety of other countries. Ask us whether we have approval in yours.Contact me to discuss how our biosensor and monitoring solution can relieve pressure on your healthcare system, hospital or primary health clinic. I will put you in touch with one of our sales managers and arrange a personal demonstration and trial of our solution. www.cocooninvestments.com

  • Yamatji Marlpa Aboriginal Corporation
    Deputy Director Research & Heritage
Yamatji Marlpa Aboriginal Corporation May 2013 - Apr 2014
    Perth
Yamatji Marlpa Aboriginal Corporation (YMAC) is the native title representative body for the Traditional Owners of the Pilbara, Murchison and Gascoyne regions of Western Australia. Heritage ProtectionThe Aboriginal Heritage Act 1972 recognises Aboriginal people's strong connection to country and says what kinds of places and objects need to be protected. When a company wants to access country for development or mining they must first undertake a survey to find out if there are any Aboriginal heritage sites in the area. Native title claim groups make the decision on heritage survey teams and who represents a particular area of country.YMAC undertakes one of the largest heritage survey programs in Australia. We work with Aboriginal people to provide professional and culturally appropriate heritage surveys for companies wanting to do business on country. Our services include organising archaeological and ethnographic surveys, salvage of sites and monitors for earth disturbing works in sensitive areas.Native TitleNative title is about recognising and protecting Aboriginal people’s country and culture. Under Australian law Native Title Act 1993, Aboriginal people have rights and interests to Country that come from their traditional laws and customs.Native title rights and interests may include rights to:- access Country for traditional purposes, like camping or ceremonies- visit and protect important places and sites- hunt, fish and gather food or traditional resources like water, wood and ochre- teach law and custom on CountryIn order to have native title recognised, the claim group is required to give evidence to show that people have a connection to their land and sea country under the systems of traditional law and custom. ‘Connection’ evidence can include genealogical research, cultural mapping and analysis of laws, customs and language. My job is to put the right systems in place to protect heritage and culture wherever possible.
  • Warmun Community (Turkey Creek) Inc.
    Project Manager
Warmun Community (Turkey Creek) Inc. Feb 2012 - Jan 2013
    Warmun, Western Australia
I spent 2012 living and working in Warmun in Western Australia's beautiful Kimberley region. I managed the Warmun New Start Project - an ambitious set of social reform measures affecting the 350 residents of Warmun Aboriginal Community.Warmun was devastated by flood last year and the Community is currently being rebuilt. My role in the reconstruction is building new, healthy social norms.New Start is a comprehensive set of strategies that will lead to improved and sustainable outcomes in: - strengthening and streamlining the community governance role of Council; - reducing the systemic impact of alcohol and drugs; - building resilience within families and communities to mitigate destructive behaviours; - setting and achieving the expectation that all kids should attend school 100 per cent of the time; and, - setting and achieving the expectation that parents ensure appropriate supervision of kids at all times.Post-flood, the Community will have entirely new infrastructure, three years of strong in-community economic activity, significant public and political attention and support, and a strong feeling in community that this is the chance for a New Start.
  • Department Of Families, Housing, Community Services And Indigenous Affairs
Director, Stronger Futures In The Northern Territory Taskforce
Department Of Families, Housing, Community Services And Indigenous Affairs 2011 - 2012
    Canberra, Act
The Australian Government identified three key areas for consultation across the 73 prescribed Aboriginal communities affected by the Northern Territory 'Intervention':- School attendance and educational achievement — ensuring all children go to school and succeed - Economic development and employment — ensuring Indigenous people are part of the Territory’s economy and that people have jobs - Tackling alcohol abuse — ensuring people and communities do not go on suffering the devastation caused by too much alcohol. My job in the Taskforce was to bring the learning I gained during the whole-of-government evaluation of the Northern Territory Emergency Response, that I project managed in 2010-11, into the future policy being developed under the new National Partnership Agreement for Closing the Gap in the Northern Territory that spans 10 years and will cost $3 billion.I found myself being the integrity barometer during the project, assessing new policy proposals across the Commonwealth Government departments and agencies delivering services in the Northern Territory. I also negotiated partnerships within and with other agencies to ensure efficacy.
