Upon taking over this database I put in best practices for VLDB's to include multiple file groups, proper backup strategy, consistency checks, etc. I also modified the existing index structure to include a clustered index and reduced the non clustered indexes by 120 GB.

Installed the document imaging module across the enterprise to include 13 remote scanning sites. Served as both the Systems Engineer and DBA.Citrix Metaframe/Presentation Server - Installed and configured a 40+ server Citrix Metaframe XP fare for remote delivery of more than 60 applications across a 5 state region. Years later I began the migration from Metaframe XP to Presentation Server 4.5. Served as both the Systems Engineer and DBA.Financial Analyst Upgrade - Was responsible for upgrading a locally installed application in 40 locations to a centralized SQL 2000 database. The upgraded application was deployed to 300 users utilizing Citrix Metaframe XP.Bank Acquisitions - Was part of a core team who would migrate newly purchased banks to our network. I would travel onsite to do an initial analysis of what applications/systems the bank used and help plan a migration / conversion to our systems. I was part of 9 such acquisitions.
