CurrentProject manager for nationwide fueling center retailer (Murphy Oil USA). I have successfully managed roughly 50 sites across the country. Current work load ranges from 15 to 20 projects all different phases of development. Specifically responsible for all stages of commercial development, which entails working closely with the Murphy Real Estate team and legal counsel in; preparation of due diligence reports, establishing overall project schedules, preparing closing risk assessment reports for assisting real estate and legal counsel in purchase / lease agreement negotiations and closings, and coordination of legal counsel development memorandums. Engineering duties and responsibilities performed include; land planning, concept design, preparation of preliminary construction documents, oversite and coordination of architectural team and other project specific sub consultants, preparation of final construction documents. After preparation of civil construction documents, permitting efforts include; the assurance that all entitlements are obtained and in place as quickly as possible, make necessary submittals to all agencies having jurisdictions (AHJ) which includes site/civil, grading, building, sign, food, health department, and fuel tank permits. Additional permitting tasks include managing sub consultant review comments, responses, and resubmittals. Project Management tasks performed include; establishing and closely monitoring project progress and schedule, prepare monthly invoices and review / approve sub consultant invoices, prepare budgets, proposals and contract supplements. Responsible for overall projects performance and profitability, and maintaining client relationships. During construction, administrative responsibilities include; leading pre-bid conference calls; preparation of out to bid packages, preparation of issue for construction packages, attend pre-construction meetings, and respond to contractor RFI’s.
