I am a Mental Health Professional and youth advocate with extensive knowledge of socio-economic and mental health disparities within New Orleans communities. I am passionate about providing our community with increased access to mental health services, particularly for emotional and trauma-related conditions. I am fully conversant with current thinking on Community, Cultural, and Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on minority and “at risk” youth. For the past eight years, I have applied my studies through a community- and transcultural-based approach, which supports interdependent healing and wellbeing.I have dedicated my life to addressing the lack of mental health services and support available to youth in my community.
