During my consulting time at SRC, I assisted with creating the design and requirements on a global redesign of the Marine Corp Network Information Systems and support infrastructure. While my part was minor in the grand scheme of things, I learned a great deal from the extremely talented team that I had the pleasure to work with and was able to help create some very nifty things. I gained as much consulting on this project as I provided and look forward to the next opportunity to assist again in the future.

Managed a team of world-class system architects and engineers from a collaborative group of contractors on a multi-platform project that allows us to design and create new and amazing solutions every day! As a team we designed, managed, built and maintained a full data center and enterprise system for a program called the DIF (Digital Integration Facility). The project was a complete integration life-cycle as a service that included "in-house" IA, T&E, mechanical, and electrical engineering, software engineering and a full requirements development team, risk and CR tractability matrix team and much more. My team handled the enterprise solutions from fully virtualized infrastructure, to a complete on-prem hosted SharePoint farm with project server and the full BI suite. We supported all users and other technical needs of the program on a daily basis. We also acted as a special projects team and worked to create a complete lab environment that for virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) using Vmware and Citrix. construct a full implementation with their assistance of all that they have to offer in the desktop compute arena. I also designed and acted as product development lead on a scalable system design architecture for distributed datacenter operations project for the transportation vertical in our company. The system design decoupled the need for single site architecture and allowed for cellular and flexible compute resources allowing everything from emergency services to self driving cars to expand and contract their data systems while mobile.

Design, Build, and Manage Enterprise virtualization solutions for multi-campus project using a robust vmware datacenter setup. Took on the lead roll as the chief architect and have learned so much in a short time. SAIC provided me with a terrific opportunity to grow and learn and I've taken the bull by the horns. Starting out with a blank canvas and a one person team that grew into 6 in under two years, we designed and built a full spread of enterprise services and a decent size Datacenter to back them all. Our achievements include on prem SharePoint farm, exchange, IBM rational suite, custom development architecture for the dev team with rapid provisioning of systems and networks through custom Web based menus, to full integration environment for specific platforms with higher and adjacent services to test against. It's been a great journey and can't wait to see where it leads next.
