CSWR is a key component of the Lower Atmospheric Observing Facility, funded through the National Science Foundation. We design and operate a fleet of state of the art mobile radars and instruments that we deploy in front of tornadoes, hurricanes, and dynamic rain and snow events to increase scientific understanding of severe weather phenomena. We support many NSF funded projects at the frontiers of atmospheric science in the US and abroad.-- Designed resilient office and mobile infrastructure that facilitates fast, secure, reliable archiving and transcoding terabytes of data collected from state of the art mobile radar platform -- Planned and implemented a secure, segmented and fault tolerant network design for office and mobile operations, well-documented for succession planning-- Implemented a centralized and scalable NAS solution for efficient data analysis and archiving resulting in easier management and higher productivity in quality control and analysis-- Presented the quality and importance of our research and facility to media and the public during interviews and outreach-- Coordinated with university professors and guided students to provide highest quality hands on learning and research
