Hey there!Welcome to my world of fit-fun-awesomeness! I am a Certified Fitness Trainer through the International Sports Science Association, a CrossFit Certified Level 1 Coach, a Group Fitness Instructor, a USA Track & Field Level 1 Coach, a Lululemon Ambassador and Educator, lifetime athlete and lover of ragin' fun!I have been involved in athletics since I was three years old. Starting out in ballet and tumbling classes my tremendous amount of energy and strength allowed for an easy transition into gymnastics. I was actually 'kicked-out' of ballet class because I thought that cartwheels were more interesting than first and fifth position. Before I declared my elite status in gymnastics, I got injured and decided to pursue my interests in other sports, like volleyball track and field. I soon I found my love for hurdles my sophomore year of high school. I became team captain and achieved All-County, All-Region, All-State Honors. I also received MVP awards each of my four years in high school. I was undefeated in both the 100M Hurdles and 300M Hurdles from 2000-2001, ending my senior year with All-American honors in both indoor and outdoor track and field.After high school, I received a full track and field scholarship to the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Under Head Coach Dennis Craddock, I earned All-ACC hurdler titles my freshman and senior years in the 400M Hurdles. I was also a high scoring key member of the ACC Championship Teams from 2002-2004, receiving a Triple Crown Championship Team Title in 2003, which has only happened twice, ever. After college I ran track professionally under the guidance of Georgia Tech Coach Nat Page. But, injury forced me to hang up my spikes. I now specialize in building Bodies Of Natural Distinction using various methods including: Basic Aerobics, Weight Lifting, Speed Agility and Polymeric Training, Group Classes, High Intensity Interval Training, Nutritional Guidance, and One on One Consulting.
