Reporting to the Senior Manager, Operational Excellence, primary responsibilities entailed managing small-scale projects and initiatives, maintaining and delivering reporting related to Audit & Regulatory Changes, Privacy Breaches, and Complaints Handling, ensuring proper management of projects, internal or external promotion, and buy-in from key stakeholders, providing quarterly status updates to LBC on implementation of LBC audit recommendations, assisting business partners across LBC with the collection of documents for internal and external audits, facilitating annual Bill 198 testing, and fielding Operations related Compliance queriesAccomplishments:- Facilitated annual Bill 198 testing entailing the updating of procedural maps as well as coordinating the collection, compilation, and delivery of test documentation to auditors.- Developed and led several risk mitigation activities across the organization including the quarterly operational risk profile process, the quarterly system access reviews for key banking systems, and as part of the supplier risk management policy, annual supplier risk assessments for high materiality suppliers, and quarterly supplier attestations for medium and high materiality suppliers.- Produced steady-state and ad hoc reporting on various Operations activities including Audit & Regulatory Changes, Privacy Breaches, and Complaints Handling.- Facilitated Compliance testing activities between the Compliance team and various Operations business units, entailing the co-ordination of meetings, clarifying requirements, and developing action plans to ensure timely and complete delivery of documentation.- Managed small-scale projects and initiatives touching multiple business areas within scope and within established time lines.- Participated in projects and initiatives related to the AGF Trust / B2B Bank merger.
