Over 30 years experience as a Combat Systems technician, tactician, instructor and assessor supporting Naval Surface Warfare Commands. Subject matter expert in Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD), Non-Tactical Data Collection (NTDC) operations, BMD Test and Evaluation and Aegis Combat Training System (ACTS) Scenario development and validation. Recently served as a technical expert for the Board of Inspection and Survey for all weapon systems. Over 20 years’ experience in Aegis Weapon Systems (AWS) experience in configuration, operation, maintenance management and casualty correction including assignment as Combat Systems Maintenance Manager on two Aegis platforms; coordinating system wide maintenance across an entire Department. Certified Master Training Specialist. Served as the Senior IAMD/BMD Instructor while stationed at Center for Surface Combats Systems, Detachment Norfolk. Hands on experience with fleet mission requirements, including ARABIAN GULF SPOTLIGHT duties during IRAQI FREEDOM. Served as a Combat Systems Leading Chief Petty Officer responsible for MK 160 GFCS, Close in Weapon System (CIWS), Tomahawk and Harpoon Weapon Systems.
