During the four years of college, I have experienced many part-time jobs that have helped me gain a lot of knowledge and understanding in various fields. From the first year to the middle of the second year of university, I worked for restaurants such as Singapore Rice, Gogi House, which helped me to have more knowledge about customer psychology, how to give customer service advices. Next, I was introduced by my co-worker to be an English tutor for a 5th grade girl. This work has just helped me consolidate my English knowledge, enhance interaction with others. In addition, it helps me know how to organize and assign lessons for my student. However, I only undertook this job for 8 months because maybe my personality is not suitable for teaching. I prefer the more energetic environment so I decided to switch to the hotel receptionist.I know it from the Facebook job post. I have experienced it from the time I stopped teaching to the epidemic Covid 19. This work made me change completely into a different person who is more professional and confident. I know how to organize and assign the workflow in accordance with the principles and rules; my English communication is also enhanced because I interact with many foreign visitors everyday. Besides, I also practice hotel software, excel, how to make shift reports, monthly debt reports. What is more, the response to mail from guests and departments is familiar to a receptionist. I also know how to consult room, spa or tour services and answer customer questions. All these duties and responsibilities I have accumulated over a year and a half. Because the hotel must be closed in the epidemic Covid 19, I took the initiative to take a break and found a temporary sales job at a Korean supermarket. The main task is to pay guests and make a late report. However, it forces me to learn a little more Korean because all customers here use it. Nearly 2 months, I also have a little vocabulary about Korean, which is really quite interesting. And now I am back to receptionist work at the four-star Reyna hotel. I want to work in a larger environment to meet the opportunity of advance in the career. Hope it will come soon.
