I am passionate about helping individuals and families throughout different phases of their life by providing a safe space for counseling and artistic expression to aid in the healing journey. My counseling specializations are individuals struggling with disordered eating, improving self compassion, addiction, anxiety, and depression.I practice from a blend of traditional Cognitive Behavioral Therapy perspectives as well as, Mindfulness based psychotherapy. I also have extensive training in hypnotherapy, guided imagery and guided mindful meditation. I view people from an integrative, somatic and holistic perspective. I believe in the healing qualities of movement, including yoga, dance, nia, walking, running and hiking.Previously I began a group private practice, Tranquility Counseling Center which was located in San Antonio Texas. We specialized in anxiety disorders, addiction, trauma, depression, eating disorders, stress reduction, chronic illness, couples counseling, hypnotherapy and change of life events. My overall goal is to be a healing force in my community.
