Terry Thiele received her BFA from James Madison University’s FIDER accredited Interior Design program. Her summer internship was spent working with Gwathmey Siegel Associates Architects in Manhattan. After completing school, she worked as a designer for Michael Graves and Associates before switching her career focus to recruiting.Terry started Transept Recruiters in 2007 in order to combine her love of the building industry and her desire to connect people by providing a specialized resource for Architecture firms seeking qualified candidates.Terry left Transept Recruiters in January, 2012, to join STV Inc, as a member of their Talent Acquisition team. She sourced architecture, engineering, and construction talent working closely with leadership across divisions which included Buildings and Facilities, Transportation and Infrastructure, and Construction Management.In August, 2015, Terry joined HDR where she specialized in mid to senior level architecture and engineering full cycle recruiting across the US. In September, 2018, Terry found her home at Kimley-Horn as a Senior Recruiter focused on growth in the Atlantic region.
