I did a social media suicide by deleting most if not all important SM accounts and moved to be talked to by bears at Savonia. Wake up at dawn, dress for the horders of insects, mammals and spiders. Deer flies, horse flies, ants, snakes, bears and even wolves. Work for 6-9 hrs straight, heat your meal by the fire you made. And rush to sell the goods before the rich wholesaler goes home.Well you don’t get rich with this, but the friends-not-met-yet encountered are still valuable. True life in the wilderness, you receive what you give.

S3DX, short for Stereoscopic 3D experience, was a duo with the director Tuisku McLees. We wrote several scripts for commercials and B2B communication, designed for stereoscopic 3D from the start. Also, we executed productions both artistically and technically for others.So we consulted production companies and producers, gave lectures at art schools about producing content in 3 dimensions.One the most notable productions would be Little Mermaid for The National Ballet of Finland, at the Opera House. I took part in the group designing the huge S3D projections behind the very ambitious modern dance piece directed by Kenneth Greve.Also our non-verbal music driven nature documentary about the travels of a water drop got a lot of attention after sending it to 40 different production companies. Still looking for the 4M it takes...:)The schools i gave lectures at include Aalto University / Movie, Arts Academy (Taideakatemia), Adulta, and Kymeenlaakson Ammattikorkeakoulu (a polytechnic).

When stereoscopic 3D was laughed at on all fronts, we pioneered high quality S3D with shoe-string budgets and endless intrigue towards the third dimension.Soon we raised some funds and got piloting and testprojects with Nokia Research and University of Helsinki, Psychology Department guided by Dr.Jukka Häkkinen. And we beat Avatar to the screen, since a big drinks company commercial we co-produced was shown before it!After several years of promoting the media around the world at fairs, giving talks, and bothering ;) customers, we got a partnership in an extremely versatile and new type of production, Moomins and the Red Comet.A 2D to 3D conversion process demanding the work of 25 people in Finland, Poland, Japan and China. The process lasted 18 months in total and we premiered in Finland in August 2011. My main focus when the production got started was quality control of the stereo 3D.No other feature length stereoscopic 3D film has come out of Finland yet (2018).I gave lectures about producing stereoscopic content at Aalto University, Helsinki. I also gave presentatons and did networking in London, Paris, Amsterdam, Moscow, Los Angeles, Prague, München and Espoo.

TV- and B2B-commercials for high profile customers including KotiPizza, TeleFinland, Iltalehti, Fiskars, Serena, Polar, Nokia, R-Kioski...Mainly worked here as a video editor, but also did compositing and mastering. Deliverables for the channels and kept the company archives.

Varied tasks in a small production/facility house including, video editing, compositing, systems integration and also mastering for clients. Company produced several TV-shows, and artsy dance-oriented shorts for YLE Teema channel.We also toured around the world with modern dance piece Opal-D from choreographer Arja Raatikainen. Kimmo Koskela did the ambitious projections onto moving props that were projected with 4 projectors onto reflective surfaces and blue-dyed water underneath the feet of the dancers.

Took a course here, and stayed there in a supporting role for 2.5 years. Mediakylpylä was a project funded by the European Union Social Fund. We gave possibilities for young adults who lack the stability to sit 4 years in school, through working in the field. About 80 percent of participants were employed right after the 6 month course.My first assignment was to shoot a promotional video in Tanzania for a Finnish non-profit organisation. They built schools and wells into the poorest areas of the huge and versatile country. A journey that will not be ever forgotten!I also took part in a youth photography project in Greece, living in Thessaloniki for 6 months.

We manufactured the best lures for catching salmon and trout in Finland. Tested and proven! Handmade products that had to be tested throughout the thousands of rivers, rapids and lakes in Finland. The better part of the job.During our fishing trips we also took part in a mining activity digging up spectrolyte. Using sledgehammers, drills and giant crowbars, i dug up one of the biggest known single piece of the half-jewel in Finland, at the time anyway. 70kg's in one giant piece! Real gold digging at modern times!
