I was born in Paraná, Argentina. When I was 3 years old, I asked to be taught to read. When I was 4, my father asked me if I wanted to learn English. It was 1970 and foreign languages were not taught in primary school or kindergarten: he was my first teacher.In 1987 I was watching an interview with Sting on local TV. Next thing I knew, I found myself interpreting the interview aloud and faster and with less hesitation than the interpreter on TV, thus I knew that was my dream job. The next year I enrolled at the translator’s school.Since then, I have helped university researchers with their papers, factories have trusted me to learn how to operate their new machinery, and I have made it easier for other private clients to satisfy their need to understand manuals or articles written in English. As an in-house translator/interpreter, I took part in the take-over process of a privatized electric utility, I collaborated in the bidding processes of other electric utilities in the country, and I supported travel insurance companies in keeping their customers safe. As a freelance translator, I have translated TV series for an important channel, worked with translation agencies, which helped me to achieve a better knowledge and understanding of the translation business and how to understand and meet the customer’s needs. Currently, I collaborate with an important medical publication.I was also a teacher in the translation school for 15 years. Always teaching. Always learning.I put my 30 years of experience and permanent desire to learn at the client service, to help them cross the linguistic bridge towards their objectives.My credentials:- BA in Translation.
