I provided market research, built and maintained customer relations, provided technical support, look out for IP, and sold Daploy High Melt Strength Polypropylene in USA/ Canada/ Mexico for non-automotive applications development. Daploy HMSPP is extensively used in manufacturing low-density PP foam for protective and food packaging, thermal and sound insulation, and as a blending component with linear PP for improving extrusion and molding process efficiency, reducing sag in thermoforming, improving blow molding, and blown film processes. As an external thesis advisor, I guided research work of graduate (MS, Ph.D.) students, mostly in the processing of nanocomposites. During these years, I also collaborated with other faculty members in writing proposals for SBIR and STTR. The collaboration resulted in one allowed US patent.

Led a team in developing various TPO and TPV products and proprietary material modification technologies for automotive interior and extreior applications.

Founded a company offering technology transfer services. Prepared and presented complete technology transfer packages to Indian industries.

Led a team in developing various thermoplastic (TPE, TPO, TPV) materials and processes from lab to commercialization with end use in automotive, consumer, medical, and W & C applications.

Developed various high performance glass fiber reinforced olefins, olefin based blends/ alloys, flame retarded PP, mixing and reactive extrusion processes. Optimized IM screw designs for Spheripol and TSE compounding processes for HMSPP, Catalloy, and Hivalloy. Provided expert advice on application of DOE / Taguchi TQM in process optimization, extrusion screw design via numerical simulation, and TSE mixing technologies.

Led a team in developing novel filled conductive thermoplastic compounds and inks with PTC and NTC features for applications in SR heaters and sensors , Five issued patents and 12 disclosures.
