I raise awareness and coordinate activities focused on cultural safety and anti-racism. I connect and coordinate best practices and create opportunities and tools for knowledge sharing in order to elevate cultural safety and anti-racism initiatives.

As an Engagement Partner, I support ongoing relationship and capacity building within Fraser Health for physicians within the context of community and facility engagement. As the Fraser Health Authority Lead, I have the additional privilege of coordinating and lending a regional lens to Medical Staff Associations (MSA) and the various Divisions of Family Practices (DFP) in the Health Authority.The Engagement Partner is a trusted advisor to physician leaders and staff of MSAs and DFP as well as regional groups and other stakeholders to advance meaningful consultation and partnerships among member physicians and health authority partners. This role includes visits to strengthen relationships between physicians and administration, supporting governance capacity and organizational capacity to effectively engage physicians, advancing alignment of locally and regionally-led activities, and contributing to provincial and regional committees related to physician engagement.

I improve patient care by working with specialists, health authorities and other partners to support physician engagement and collaboration in the health system, enabling health system improvement initiatives, and supporting physicians with appropriate training, incentives and resources.In my role, I provide operational and strategic support and guidance to facility-based physicians and health authority partners regarding the implementation of the Facility Engagement Initiative at the facility and regional levels.I support the establishment and optimization of local and regional structures, liaising and building relationships with health authority partners and other stakeholders, and providing feedback and information to continuously inform the development of the initiative.I support physicians and health authorities in their efforts to improve collaboration and engagement towards goals consistent with the Quadruple Aim.
