As an internal departmental transfer to the Robe Valley Department of Operational Excellence, my focus is working collaboratively with relevant site stakeholders to identify areas where we can improve accuracy, effectiveness and efficiency and bring about change within the processes to effectively eliminate business waste; core role deliverables included (but were not limited to):► Facilitate Practical Problem Solving and Kazan sessions with site stakeholders; use of lean methodologies► Analysis of large amount of safety, financial, and production data to assist in streamlining processes, improving customer service, or cutting cost objectives► Support RTIO Safety Production Systems roll out - mindsets and behaviours transformation program ► Development of 30, 60 and 90-day action plans; allocation of responsibility, action completion/update, testing the effectiveness of actions implemented, and assisting with feedback loop close out► Departmental practical learning: understanding how each department of the business is operated to assist in identifying improvements, and the development of problems statements to effectively eliminate business waste [ volume, cost and asset management] ► Assist leaders map business improvement activities to RTIO Safety Maturity Model elements and performance criteria ► Current business portfolio is Fixed Plant Operations [Wet plants], Mine Water Management and Site Services Infrastructure, at both MESA A and MESA J + Framework owner of Mesa A & J Senior Leadership Strategic Plan initiatives. ► Actively working towards lean certification

Is&T Australia (Robe Valley Iron Ore Mines) - Pilbara Region, Wa

IS&T (Information, Systems and Technology) Australia is part of Rio Tinto’s Global Technological Resources Division. Rio Tinto Iron Ore’s mining operations in the Pilbara comprise 16 iron ore mines, 4 ports, 1,700km’s of rail, and related infrastructure. Employed as Project CMS (Contractor Management Systems) Supervisor for site-based network and communication infrastructure projects at MESA A, MESA J and Pannawonica mining and processing operations, core role deliverables include (but are not limited to): ► Working closely with project managers and network engineers in Perth to advise and coach them on the operational requirements for site-based contracting organisations, so that they can plan and schedule accordingly to ensure the overall on-time and on-budget delivery of projects in compliance with the CMS (Contractor Management System)► Monitoring project mobilisation, implementation and handover documentation, including contractor qualifications, safety management plans, L2RA’s, permits, and ITP’s (Inspection and Test Plans), for QA/QC compliance with the CMS► Reading and interpreting contractual obligations to ensure clear understanding of compliance requirements, coaching RTIO project supervisors, and assisting multi-discipline RTIO stakeholders to maintain compliance with the CMS ► Being an advocate for safe work systems and all HSE policies and processes to enable Zero Harm to people, equipment and the environment, and modelling positive behaviours in-line with company values (same for all roles below)► Developing collaborative relationship with site-based contractor supervisors and their teams, coaching the supervisors on how to conduct RTIO pre-start meetings, and ensuring overall compliance with HSE systems and processes.

Employed as regional Health & Safety Advisor for the Greater Tom Price (Tom Price, Western Turner, Paraburdoo, & Marandoo mining & processing operations) & Brockman regions (Brockman 4, Brockman 2, & Nammuldi mining & processing operations), & for the Nammuldi & Hamersley Agricultural projects, core role deliverables included (but were not limited to): ► Development, implementation, management, auditing & continuous improvement of safety management plans & associated H&S systems & processes, to ensure the highest levels of H&S performance across the all of following Areas in the in West Pilbara Utilities & Facilities function:☛ Cranes & Transport, Utilities Maintenance, Site & Mining Communications, Agriculture Projects, Light Vehicles, Warehousing & the Sodexo Contract ► Coaching managers, superintendents & frontline leaders in the effective driving of safety system standardisation practices pertaining to the Safety Maturity Model & associated H&S objectives, so-as to drive strong H&S performance outcomes (reflected in the Safety Maturity Score) for the Utilities & Facilities function► Leading incident investigations (including Level 2 essential factors) for the West Pilbara Utilities & Facilities, assisting with investigations outside the portfolio, identifying non-conformances, & shaping & advising on corrective actions ► Interrogating large amounts of H&S data, analysing trends, deriving assumptions & conclusions, creating detailed reports, & presenting findings to management & various other site & corporate audiences► Leading & mentoring senior & middle managers in H&S fundamentals programs, & conducting work group interactions for QSI, Cascade Coaching, & Field Leadership ► Scheduling & facilitating weekly Health & Safety & Continuous Improvement meetings for all the above-listed Areas► Facilitating & reviewing Level 2 risk assessments, & interpreting WH&S legislation, standards & codes.

I commenced as Senior HST Advisor at Golden Dragon, was Acting HST Superintendent for leave coverage in 2016 & 2017, was full-time step up HST Superintendent at Golden Dragon from January 2018 until April 2019, & transferred to Southern Cross as Senior HST Advisor for the remainder of my tenure. Core role deliverables included (but were not limited to): ► As HST Superintendent I directly managed a HST team of 6 (2 Safety Advisors, 1 Trainer & Assessor, 1 Training Coordinator & 2 Paramedics), & developed, implemented, managed, assesses, audited & optimised safety management plans & associated HST systems & procedures► Key point of HST contact for site, providing operational support to key stakeholders, driving positive change in HST culture & reporting standards, & confidently engaging & influencing white & blue collar workers to buy into HST initiatives & processes to minimise risk & optimize overall HST performance ► Managed the HST budget, interrogated large amounts of HST data, analysed trends, derived assumptions & conclusions, & created & presented accurate end-of-month HST reports to the GM, CEO & COO► Developed H&S training management plans, facilitated competency-based training & VOC/MOU with RTO’s for Certificate III’s & RII units, & evaluated primary contractor HST programs for compliance ► Understanding how metallurgical accounting, geological, exploration, EA, CAPEX, warehousing, logistics & processing functions tie into the production profile to ensure effective risk management for safe & profitable operations► Facilitating workplace hazard inspections & audits, identifying root causes of problems, identifying non-conformances, shaping corrective actions, & ensuring the implementation of such actions to mitigate future risks► Leading notifiable incident investigations using ICAM, managing site risk & incident registers, & Safety Regulation System reporting to the Department of Mines, Industry, Regulation & Safety.

Nammuldi Below Water Table Project - Pilbara Region, Wa

RTIO’s Nammuldi Below Water Table Project consisted of earthworks for the processing plant, waste fine storage facility, mine service facilities, stockyard, explosives compound, heavy vehicle haul roads, light vehicle roads, and a rail link with a train loading facility. Employed as a Category 1 Contractor for Wet Plant Operations, core role deliverables included (but were not limited to): ► Conducting Area observations, trends analysis and maintenance reporting throughout the commissioning phase, as well as responding to alarms and providing feedback on potential issues in performance-testing phase for the following plant:☛ Primary and secondary crushing, wet screening, classification/tailings, cyclone separation, thickeners, and filter belts ► Led by example regarding compliance with HSE systems and procedures, held meaningful safety interactions to solve issues or discuss ideas for improvement, and reported on any incidents or near misses► Provided hands-on training and mentoring for other contractors in the safe and efficient operation of the above-listed continuous processing plant and equipment ► Worked collaboratively with engineering and maintenance teams for an integrated approach to shutdowns and start-ups ► Installed safe isolations in-line with RTIO Permit to Work (PTW) and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) systems and procedures► Attended plant performance issues, rectified those within my sphere of competency, and escalated those outside of► Plant and equipment auditing, daily operator/maintainer checks, reporting faults, and using SAP for data logging.

Christmas Creek Opf & Tlo - Pilbara Region, Wa

FMG’s Chichester Hub comprises the Christmas Creek and Cloudbreak iron ore mines, with production capacity of 100MTPA from 3 Ore Processing Facilities (OPF’s), and associated TLO (Train Load Out) facilities. Employed as a Training Coordinator at Christmas Creek for the ore processing and train load out facilities, core role deliverables included (but were not limited to): ► Coordinated a team of 6 facilitators, trainers and assessors in-conjunction with contracted Australian Work-Safe assessors to deliver site-based training packages for 2,500 contractors and employees for the OPF and TLO, including:☛ Permit to Work PTW), Permit Holder and Coordinator, Personal Lock Holder, Isolation Officer, JHA (Job Hazard Analysis) and Take 5 Risk Assessment Programs► Developed competency profiles for electrical, mechanical, maintenance, planning, shutdown, production and stockyards disciplines, and oversaw training compliance for processing, shutdown, maintenance, TLO and stockyard departments ► Assessed VOC’s (Verification of Competencies) and conducted inductions for operators skid steer loader, front end loader, tipper truck, super-crane gantry, and coaster bus operators► Ensured the on-time facilitation of site induction programs that clearly outlined the expectations and requirements for a safe and productive workforce►Reviewed, developed and maintained training materials and data in-line with WorkSafe high-risk licensing requirements.

Lawler’S Gold Mine - Norseman-Wiluna Greenstone Belt, Wa

► Coordinated and managed the Processing Safety and Training Management System and associated budget, recorded and reviewed monthly safety statistics, conducted detailed trends analysis, and reported to senior management for actioning► Coordinated training for all personnel in the mill and maintenance departments, successfully managed the Certificate III in Resource Processing Traineeship Program, and implemented the Barrick Gold Hazardous Materials standard across site► Ensured senior operators, shift supervisors and foremen were supplied with all the right tools, resources and guidance to bring their employees up to standard before conducting a variety of assessments► Updated all SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) for continuous gold processing plant to include environmental considerations, and assisted with ISO14001 environmental accreditation► Completed internal audits on Barrick Gold’s 5 Critical Standards (Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry, Isolation and Tagging, Vehicles and Driving, and Cranes/Lifting Operations)► Coordinated MOU’s with RTO’s to deliver site training requirements for RII packages, managed the RIMS (Regulatory Information Management System), and implemented LMS (Learning Management System) software ► Chaired safety meetings for multiple departments, and led formal risk assessments.
