2015 to Present: I had the opportunity to rejoin this team of creative professionals part-time and support them with my expertise in creating interactive training videos. Their platform is used nationwide in major U.S. government agencies to better train their personnel (see below for more information.)2007 to 2013: From filming inside submarines to taping illegal aliens on our border, this job creating scenario-based training videos for major government agencies was an exciting challenge. My Top Secret Security Clearance allowed me to produce teaching modules for: SPAWAR, Homeland Security, Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard, Border Patrol, USDA, FDA and FAA, among others. As a result of my work, I was awarded 4 National Telly Awards for Excellence in videography, editing and training content.

In one year, I helped create 600+ videos for a Google CS First curriculum that teaches students how to write computer code. I loved this job because it supports the next generation of computer scientists. The videos are shown in schools nationwide and have been used by over 250,000 students. I accepted this position knowing it was just for twelve months, but I am so grateful to have made a difference.
