Manage the direct spend, pricing, strategies, performance and relationships of suppliers of $50M of raw materials (SS Coil, SS Bar, Titanium Coil, Aluminum Bar, Carbon/Alloy bar and plate, Foundry Materials, etc.), $40M in global castings (SS, Cast Iron, Aluminum and Zinc) and $3M in Forgings.

As the Global Commodity Manager of Steel, I managed the global strategy and spend on wire, bar, tube and flat steel products for over 20 plants world-wide. I own the key-supplier relationships, develop contracts and strategies, deliver on year over year cost reduction targets and help the plants source their new materials within the strategy.As the Regional Commodity Manager of Chain products, I managed the needs of the North American facilities and work with the global team on strategy, pricing and supplier relationships and agreements.

Managed the direct spend, pricing, strategies, performance and relationships with suppliers of raw materials (aluminum, steel wire and rod and copper wire) for all North American operations as well as numerous component categories for both the Engine and Products Divisions including: castings, machined components, valve train, fasteners, powdered metal, springs/wire forms and magnets totaling over $150M in annual spend.

Managed the direct spend, strategies and supplier relationships for raw materials (aluminum, steel coil, rod and wire and copper wire) for all North American operations as well as numerous component categories for the Engine Division including: metal stampings/fab, valve train, fasteners, packaging, powdered metal, springs, labels/manuals, magnets and bearings totaling over $175M in spend. Responsible for driving cost reductions, purchased components for new product launches, creating sourcing strategies and ensuring suppliers achieve quality, delivery, compliance and cost targets.

Managed an annual spend of $125M in categories of: electrical (starter motors, ignitions, wire harnesses, etc.) and fuel system components (carburetors, fuel filters, fuel pumps, etc.), fasteners, springs, labels, piston rings, bearings and packaging, driving cost reductions, supporting new product launches, creating sourcing strategies and ensuring suppliers achieve quality, delivery, compliance and price targets
