• Assisted with obtaining qualitative data for Dr. Sihui Ke’s thesis regarding Biliteracy Development in the Early Years: The Effects of Home Language and Literacy Experiences. • Interviewed Chinese immigrants with children in US during the COVID-19 pandemic to obtain qualitative data regarding their experiences with xenophobia, prejudice, and education. • Evaluated children’s Chinese and English language skills to identify effects of increased xenophobia and prejudice on language learning abilities. • Performed extensive coding, working with qualitative and quantitative data, concisely communicating data within Excel.
