As an account executive at 2NDGEAR, I served K-12 school districts and higher ed institutions nationwide by providing new and refurbished IT solutions such as;-laptops-desktops-Chromebooks-interactive panels-& much moreMy job was to build relationships with manufacturers (Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc) and school decision makers (IT directors, superintendents & other administrators) to ensure that all students in a given school were properly equipped with their own device during the Covid-19 pandemic. Many schools would call this their “1:1 initiative” as they didn’t have to give every student a device until they were forced to work remotely.We often helped schools tackle these daunting technology projects by taking full advantage of the billions of dollars of government funding available (ESSER, ECF, EANS, ERATE) to fulfill the growing needs in EdTech.This role moved me from Baltimore, Maryland to Cape Cod, Massachusetts where I met my lovely wife.
