 Developed and implemented short and long-range training plans to meet all training and readiness requirements for the installation.  Led a 15-person training team in the development of integrated training drills in order to assess emergency preparedness and response for the emergency management, fire, and security departments.  Ensured that all planned exercises were realistic, challenging, based on validated mission requirements and met the requirements of the Mission Essential Task List (METL). Applied readiness analysis and assessment metrics to identify problem areas in training and readiness. Developed Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to track and correct deficiencies discovered during emergency preparedness assessments.  Analyzed and assessed the installation’s readiness with regard to the fundamental pillars of the Defense Readiness Response System (DRRS) for the identification of program deficiencies, misalignments in manning, training, and equipment and capability gaps for the installation’s effectiveness.

 Ensured that all guests were provided with a safe and secure environment throughout their stay. Ensured the safety and protection of hotel guests, employees, and hotel property. Developed, implemented, and enforced safety and security procedures and protocols for a newly-opened, four hotel complex. Performed monthly safety and security audits of all four hotel properties.  Identified safety and security deficiencies at the hotels, developed a training strategy to correct the deficiencies, and presented the training to over 100 hotel associates. Conducted investigations into safety and security related incidents to include interviewing witnesses, collecting evidence, taking photographs, reviewing security camera footage, and writing detailed incident reports. Chaired a monthly safety committee comprised of associates from all four properties that identified existing and potential hazards, implemented safeguards, and devised employee safety initiatives. The efforts of the safety committee resulted in only one reported workplace injury over the course of the year. Trained and supervised security personnel and reviewed all security activity reports.

Nas Key West, Fl

 Managed the operations and maintenance departments’ transition to the more modern MH-60S helicopter. Developed a training plan for maintainers, pilots, and aircrew, updated search and rescue procedures, and oversaw the delivery and transfer of all aircraft. The transition project was completed six months early and $150,000 under budget.  Oversaw all personnel, pay, and manning issues for over 300 Navy service members attached to Naval Air Station Key West. Supervised five administrative support specialists responsible for processing all paperwork associated with hiring, orientation, and exit procedures, as well as pay documents for the military personnel at NAS Key West with no discrepancies identified during quarterly region admin audits. Maintained the Navy Family Accountability and Assessment System for over 750 NAS Key West personnel, military and civilian, for use in the event of catastrophic disasters. Served as the human resources liaison between civilian personnel and the office of personnel management during the processing of paperwork and reallocation of billets for reduction in force and furlough procedures.  Developed schedules and prepared itineraries and briefings for numerous visits by high level government and military officials.  Performed preflight analysis, mission planning, and briefings for training and operational flights. Developed and implemented search and rescue procedures for the Naval Air Station Key West 2013 air show.  Reviewed and approved or disapproved travel authorizations and travel claims in accordance with Joint Travel Regulations and Department of Defense Financial Management Regulations. Reviewed requests and performed audits to determine the validity of the traveler’s transportation requests, reimbursable expenses, and trip allowances. Exercised command and control over all NAS Key West assets as Command Duty Officer during the absence of the Commanding Officer and Executive Officer.

Hsc-26 Norfolk, Va

 Served as the Assistant Operations Officer for a deployable helicopter squadron and as the Operations Officer for the squadron’s permanent Middle East detachment.  Managed the quarterly fuel and flight hour budget for four operational detachments in addition to the squadron home guard.  Worked closely with the training and maintenance departments in the scheduling of over 150 pilot and aircrew personnel and 18 aircraft achieving a 95% mission completion rate. Collaborated with other services, both U.S. and allied nation, in coordinating and managing 1200 flights, including 450 operational flights, resulting in over 3500 mishap-free flight hours. Scheduled 24 aircrew in support of operations in the Arabian Gulf, including 300 sorties throughout the Arabian Gulf and coordinated the movement of over 90 tons of cargo, mail, and repair parts and over 1300 personnel. Flew over 500 missions and over 1200 mishap-free flight hours. Hand-selected to be the Naval Forces Central Command representative for the Kuwaiti 50/20 celebration and reenactment ceremony. Flew formation lead for the ceremony transporting the Kuwaiti Chief of Naval Operations and Director of Naval Operations.

Navy Personnel Command Millington, Tn

 Oversaw the distribution of the 9,000 female ship billets for the Navy. Managed the disestablishment and redistribution of personnel and assets for over twelve disestablished commands. Tracked and maintained orders and special duty screenings for over 6,000 billets in the Sea Special Programs department. Volunteered to augment naval station security and law enforcement personnel as a member of the auxiliary security force. Conducted patrols to prevent, detect, and enforce violations of laws and regulations aboard the installation and associated annexes.

Uss South Carolina (Cgn 37) Norfolk, Va

 Supervised four personnel clerks in the processing of transfers, gains, separations, and pay related documents for 500 Navy personnel. Maintained personnel service records to include tracking qualifications and designations, updating dependency status and paperwork, processing leave, and submission of evaluations and awards. Assistant Chief Master-at-Arms; enforced Navy regulations and investigated violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Conducted investigations, collected evidence, interviewed witnesses, and prepared reports for presentation at Commanding Officer's Non-Judicial Punishment.
