 Managed the operations and maintenance departments’ transition to the more modern MH-60S helicopter. Developed a training plan for maintainers, pilots, and aircrew, updated search and rescue procedures, and oversaw the delivery and transfer of all aircraft. The transition project was completed six months early and $150,000 under budget.  Oversaw all personnel, pay, and manning issues for over 300 Navy service members attached to Naval Air Station Key West. Supervised five administrative support specialists responsible for processing all paperwork associated with hiring, orientation, and exit procedures, as well as pay documents for the military personnel at NAS Key West with no discrepancies identified during quarterly region admin audits. Maintained the Navy Family Accountability and Assessment System for over 750 NAS Key West personnel, military and civilian, for use in the event of catastrophic disasters. Served as the human resources liaison between civilian personnel and the office of personnel management during the processing of paperwork and reallocation of billets for reduction in force and furlough procedures.  Developed schedules and prepared itineraries and briefings for numerous visits by high level government and military officials.  Performed preflight analysis, mission planning, and briefings for training and operational flights. Developed and implemented search and rescue procedures for the Naval Air Station Key West 2013 air show.  Reviewed and approved or disapproved travel authorizations and travel claims in accordance with Joint Travel Regulations and Department of Defense Financial Management Regulations. Reviewed requests and performed audits to determine the validity of the traveler’s transportation requests, reimbursable expenses, and trip allowances. Exercised command and control over all NAS Key West assets as Command Duty Officer during the absence of the Commanding Officer and Executive Officer.

 Served as the Assistant Operations Officer for a deployable helicopter squadron and as the Operations Officer for the squadron’s permanent Middle East detachment.  Managed the quarterly fuel and flight hour budget for four operational detachments in addition to the squadron home guard.  Worked closely with the training and maintenance departments in the scheduling of over 150 pilot and aircrew personnel and 18 aircraft achieving a 95% mission completion rate. Collaborated with other services, both U.S. and allied nation, in coordinating and managing 1200 flights, including 450 operational flights, resulting in over 3500 mishap-free flight hours. Scheduled 24 aircrew in support of operations in the Arabian Gulf, including 300 sorties throughout the Arabian Gulf and coordinated the movement of over 90 tons of cargo, mail, and repair parts and over 1300 personnel. Flew over 500 missions and over 1200 mishap-free flight hours. Hand-selected to be the Naval Forces Central Command representative for the Kuwaiti 50/20 celebration and reenactment ceremony. Flew formation lead for the ceremony transporting the Kuwaiti Chief of Naval Operations and Director of Naval Operations.
