As Human Resources Manager I develop policy, direct and coordinate human resources activities such as employment, compensation and labor relations. Administer benefits, training, and employee services by performing the following duties for Nasco and franchise companies.-Identifie legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, legal documentation, and reporting are in compliance. -Provide information to and respond to employee inquiries regarding employment policies, procedures, and programs. -Administer benefit programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plans, paid time off, and leave of absence to include maintaining supporting documentation and providing reports as requested. -Recruit, interview, and assist in the selection of employees to fill vacant positions.-Provide management regular updates regarding terminations, new hires, benefit open enrollment periods, and any other specified topics.-Gather required human resource information and submit reports such as EEO1, VETS-100, annual OSHA requirements, and any other identified reports.-Administer performance and salary review programs to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization. Conduct job analyses to determine appropriate salary level according to compensation guidelines and policy formulated by administration.-Develop policies and procedures in order to maintain compliance with Affirmative Action and other government mandated regulations.
