Operations Manager
CurrentImplement the right processes and practices across the organization’s laboratory and field. Formulate a strategy to execute daily operations, improve performance, evaluate business growth opportunities, procure material and resources as needed, and assure safety and environmental compliance.Responsibilities• Ensure all operations are carried out in a safe, appropriate, and cost-effective manner• Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices• Purchase materials, plan inventory, and oversee spare parts efficiency• Help the organization’s processes remain environmentally and legally compliant• Formulate strategic and operational objectives; steering these objectives to completion• Examine financial data and use data to improve profitability• Perform quality controls, identify and monitor production KPIs• Recruit, train and supervise staff• Facilitate daily safety briefings specific to the day’s work tasks.• Hold regular daily, weekly, and monthly staff meetings to ensure solid communication across alloperations.• Find ways to increase the quality of customer service
