Graduated from The University of Canberra with a Bachelors of Contemporary Music Practice. Sound engineering diploma from the School of Audio Engineering and a Diploma from Southbank TAFE in Music.I am currently aiming to qualify myself for the Audio Visual industry by online training with Avixa a not-for-profit organisation that is the leading resource for AV standards, certification, training, market intelligence and thought leadership. The goal is to gain employment within the industry and complete a CTS certification. I am committed to working with an organisation that can provide long-term opportunities. I will be able to bring with me twenty years of work experience which has included just about everything you could imagine. (I've even had a few stints on sets of Major Motion Picture Sets and been kissed by Angelina Jolie.)I love great sound and this was the reason to venturing into the tertiary study and completing a Bachelor's Degree with the University of Canberra. This gave me the opportunity to complete an internship with 4zzz community radio, understand the world of project management, put myself through the pressures of being a performer and creating music for a variety of purposes and gain a backbone of knowledge to a medium of expression that I love very much. I have a holistic understanding of business and business administration and am a successful sales person and highly regarded customer service professional. I have worked as an intrinsic member of staff in some diverse organisations and been the proprietor of my own business where I was able to implement some interesting innovations to perpetuate an income whilst starting a family. I would love the opportunity to work in a hands-on or customer focused role within a leading audio visual company where I know I will be able to prove my capabilities as an achiever.
