Formations drilled – Eagleford / Austin chalk horizontal (7,000’ lateral lengths) Mud programs utilized – OBM (10+ ppg) WBM (10ppg) Brine Polymer (up to 12.4 ppg) Under balanced and Pressure managed. Key Responsibilities:• Maintenance and development of drilling fluids program specific to Argent Energy • Negotiation of product and service costs with vendors• Identification and resolution of rig issues • Implementation of well plans, preparation and execution of all rig operations• Ensure that all operations follow safety regulations • Ensure compliance with the well program and liaison with the drilling contractor and service company representatives on all operational aspects• Prepare daily drilling and cost reports• Order and coordinate materials and services in a timely manner as per well program• Prepare daily operational program• Review and provide comments on future well program• Supervise execution and implementation of the drilling program• Ensure that job tickets presented for signature have correct date, time, and costs resulting in AFE vs actual vs morning report cost difference <3%. • Conduct drilling operations efficiently and in the best interest of the companyAcomplishments:• Reduced time to drill 3500’14-3/4” surface hole from 30+ hrs to 10 hrs • Improved mud program to eliminate wiper trips from intermediate and production hole intervals by properly inhibiting Midway Shale and controlling mud and drilling parameters.• Accurately captured costs at rigsite resulting in <3% difference between billed cost and morning report cost• Successfully drilled 7,000’+ laterals with brine polymer muds

Eagleford Shale

• Managed technical and operational aspects of drilling fluids for horizontal oil and gas wells in the Eagleford Shale (up to 20 rigs at a given time)• Tracked and evaluated performance of various mud products from major drilling service companies• Identification of problem areas and implementation of strategies to improve overall operations of the mud systems, including reduction in cost and production of waste, and increase in efficiency• Communication with all operations and technical personnel to ensure “Best Practices”
