It was an awesome experience interning here, and I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to learn all I did. I learnt a whole lot about the different facets involved in engineering, and I received a firm understanding on the different manufacturing processes and how to design appropriately for these processes.I am also incredibly grateful to have made all the connections I did, it was a good experience working with each one of them.

Worked as a junior draughtsman doing CAD design work on retail equipment (Checkout counters, kiosks, POS systems, etc.).Worked very closely with the factory to make sure production was as smooth as possible both on the design and manufacturing sides. This really grew my understanding and skills of how to properly communicate with my work colleagues in such a way that there was a full understanding of the task that needed completing.

After the Covid pandemic had cut my studies short for the year, I sent emails to many companies concerning apprenticing in a CAD environment to gain experience with the relevant programmes as well as the general industry.I received word from Radko Design that they would be more than willing to have me apprentice with them and gain the necessary experience (using Solidworks in this case).I appreciate the opportunity I was given to learn and experience everything the CAD world had to offer, and I can confidently say that this sparked my love for CAD design.
