In 2020, I graduated from Liberty University, summa cum laude, with a bachelors degree in Biomedical Sciences. Since then, I have leveraged my experiences and mastery of diverse in vitro assays to perform transformative research in antibody and small molecule drug development. With a strong interest in continuing my growth as a dedicated scientist, I am ready and excited to take any challenge that comes my way.

Associate ScientistRecludix Pharma Sep 2022 - PresentAt Recludix, I work on a project to create highly specific small molecule SH2 domain inhibitors to treat various cancers and diverse autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. To further this goal, I have mastered many cell-based assays such as western blotting, ELISA, Cell Viability Assays, Flow Cytometry, AlphaLISA, MSD, and various mammalian whole blood assays. I have taken leadership roles in developing several cell growth assays to differentiate Recludix's SH2i from traditional TKIs and have taken lead with coordinating with multiple CROs to better characterize our novel class of compounds. -
Research Associate IiAlivamab Discovery Services Feb 2021 - Sep 2022San Diego, California, UsI worked as a Research Associate II in Antibody Discovery, where through Flow Cytometry/FACS, ELISA, MSD, Cell based assays (such as DiscoverX), Octet/Gator enzyme kinetics, and other various assays, I identified positive clonal and nonclonal hybridoma in 384 and 96w formats. During this time, I worked with and took care of In Vivo models, such as the AlivaMab Mouse and BALB/c mice, and In Vitro models such as primary immune cells, immortalized mammalian, and bacterial lines. To generate the hybridoma, I preformed electrofusion using harvested lymph nodes and spleens. Working on over 50+ projects on various protein pathways, I became the primary user on iQue3&Plus FACS screeners, Tecan Spark, SpectraMax L, Meso scale QuickPlex, S3e cell sorter, and ViaFlow384. With autonomy, I would analyze data using Prism, excel, and other internal data analysis programs, make go/no go decisions, and present the findings internally, and also to clients. -
Laboratory AssistantLiberty University Jan 2018 - Dec 2020Lynchburg, Va, UsDepartment of Biology & Chemistry, Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA 24515. I have served as a Lab assistant for Biology 224, Biology 450, Chemistry 107, and Chemistry 121 courses. -
Research InternPfizer May 2018 - Aug 2018New York, New York, UsResearch Intern (summers 2018 and 2019):Pfizer Oncology R&D. I worked as an intern in the laboratory of Dr. Nathan Ihle in the Tumor Biology group at Pfizer, studying oncogenic signal transduction pathways such as mutant kRas signaling in lung cancer. I received strong training in biochemical & cellular methods, including sterile tissue culture techniques and immunoblotting, data analysis, and the accurate writing of laboratory reports.
