Responsibilities include:Coordinate and schedule regular meetings with: Account Mangers, Technical stakeholders, Suppliers/manufacturers and MTS Marketing Senior Management Team to keep the centre; current, used effectively, and to promote marketing initiatives.Responsible to maintain the Solution Centre Infrastructure and including network equipment, Application servers, work stations, audio visual and telephony equipment. Maintenance of this equipment would include; configurations management, version control of software, vendor warranty and support of hardware and software.Coordinate on-going information sessions provided by our suppliers to ensure we have an understanding of their market direction. Coordinate with product marketing and our vendor partners to utilize the Solutions Centre for vendor product introduction and technology training. Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to prepare the Solutions Centre for these events and then coordinate invitations to desired audiences.Provide mentoring to assist presenters in following a corporate standard format in the presentation of our products and services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:System Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, volunteers, and Partners.Assisted project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases of our standard Project Management Methodology. These activities include the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development within the project life-cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions. Participation on projects is focused on smoothing the transition of projects from development staff to production staff by performing operations activities within the project life-cycle.Accountable for the following systems: Linux, Macintosh, and Windows systems; Linux, Macintosh, Windows and Application systems that support Asset Management; Responsibilities on these systems include SA engineering and provisioning, operations and support, maintenance and research and development to ensure continual innovation.
