He holds a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from Clemson University and a Master of Science in Horticulture from Virginia Tech, providing him with a robust scientific foundation that supports his extensive experience in global horticultural production and research.From 2022 to 2024, Travis led California's Statehouse Holdings as Vice President of Cultivation, achieving a 65% increase in annual flower production alongside a 33% reduction in costs, on average year over year. Under his leadership, Statehouse Holdings earned nine awards, including awards from both the Emerald Cup and the California State Fair. Travis served as Director of Research and Development for Battlefield Farms, now a subsidiary of Costa Farms. In this role, he oversaw partnerships with global floricultural breeding companies, managed product development relationships with major retailers, and conducted extensive research on crop protection and indoor tissue culture production in a 1.8-million-square-foot greenhouse facility, recognized among America’s top 100 growers ranked as #1 in the US in 2024.At Fluence Bioengineering, Travis was the Global Director of Horticulture Services, where he advanced cannabis cultivation technologies and sustainable practices across the globe from North America to Europe and Australia. His tenure at Fluence included co-inventing two smart farming patents focused on light acclimation and photoperiod manipulation, further cementing his reputation as an innovator in the field.In the US Hemp sector, Travis served as Vice President of Sales and Business Development at The Hemp Mine. He played a pivotal role in establishing a robust supply chain of validated cannabis genetics for large-scale agricultural field farmers, enhancing the market's access to high-quality hemp.Currently, Travis not only leads DDH, which is poised to take on fractional CEO and COO roles in multiple states in 2024, but also serves in advisory positions for several auxiliary companies.
