About Travis Hitz
I have gained leadership skills while serving in the military. As military police, we get tasked with many odd jobs, so I have learned skills in computer networking, office programs, and even low voltage electrical equipment for access control into buildings.I have served in the Military since 1998. I served in the United States Marine Corps for 4 years. I have served in the Air Force as a Security Forces member(Military Police) since 2002. I left active duty Air Force and joined the Utah Air National Guard in 2009. I went to the Utah Police Academy and worked briefly with the Layton Police Department and Salt Lake City Airport Police. I joined the Air National Guard full time in 2012 and have been there since. I am retiring this year and have finished my Bachelors degree in Information Technology with an emphasis in Software Engineering.
