I am a Mechanical Design Engineer with AJ manufacturing, an industry leading supplier of registers, grilles, diffusers, and now surgical ceiling systems! I am also a former Manufacturing Engineer for Van-Am Tool and Engineering, a manufacturing facility located in St. Joseph, MO. They specialize in many facets of manufacturing, from laser and brake press, to high precision machining and press dies. I am also a former Contract Design Engineer for Altec through EASi Engineering, where I handled engineering change requests from manufacturing and production. These typically included anywhere from minor fastener changes and slight geometry modifications to in-depth redesigns of structural components for the Digger Derrick product line at Altec. I was a student design team member of Jayhawk Motorsports, the University of Kansas Formula SAE Racing team, where I was in charge of the design and manufacturing of a revolutionary dry sump (external oil tank) engine lubrication system. This design proved successful as we were able to eliminate oil starvation as well as reduce mechanical frictions of engine components.I have also held a position as I.T. Aide at a local high school in Jacksonville, Florida where I worked for just shy of two years.I help organize the Lawrence, KS community and help run a monthly food drive for a local food bank, Just Food.
