Manage a team of 6 employees and help to identify the top bad actors and repeat failures in our EOEG, LAB, Ethylene, and Comonomers unit.

Oversaw 2 contract employees and helped implement the bolted flange program across the entire site to follow what is in ASME PCC-1

· Working with the hot mill roll shop and maintenance to reduce oil loss and spend for our finishing mill back up rolls through monitoring of the system and roll changes. Used data to justify acquiring additional capital funds for roll refurbishment and system control upgrades.· Evaluating additional monitoring or upgrading existing monitoring of critical pumps to help prevent failures and set-up a preventative maintenance program. Evaluating the use of wireless technology for continuous vibration monitoring and creating repair specifications for pumps requiring overhauls.

· Monitor key systems and production metrics to help the hot mill maintain its current production capabilities and helped with improvements that has led a to a 5 TPH increase in production and a $2/ton decrease in the production of a hot band· Worked with maintenance and operations to upgrade current and install new monitoring on utility systems to improve in troubleshooting hot mill issues and better the predictive maintenance practices.

· Responsible for overseeing Compliance, EH&S, Equipment Reliability Strategies, and Maintenance Work Process for the Adiponitrile and Hexamethylenediamine units.· Oversaw maintenance and implemented maintenance opportunities consistent with EH&S, availability, and return on investment goals that led to $1.5MM savings for 2013 for an estimated $16MM budget.Championed the RCA process by initiating RCA’s, assigning 5 Why investigations, and tracked progress of action items and improvement plans that led to increased unit availability leading to a record $24.8MM increased production across two units for 2013.· Defined Planning Priorities & led Weekly Planning Meeting so that these priorities were appropriate, clear, & communicated. Manage planning backlog including need for contract planning resources to reduce backlog.

· Provided site technical support for the corrosion under insulation program to reduce the risks of unplanned outage on piping and pressure vessels which included technical support for a $500M project to recoat a steam drum and dearator in the AOP unit.· Lead a $350M project to inspect and refurbish a 5 cell Marley Cooling tower to ensure the reliability of the cooling tower supply for a $1MM/day production unit. · Accountable for the site centrifugal pump reliability program which included MTBF metrics, tracking bad actors, conducting failure analysis, and implementing improvements. The site MTBF improved from 34 – 43 months in a little over 2 years which will save $150M in maintenance per year.
