Currently leading our production engineering team centralizing operations in our new Daikin Texas Technology Park. Our PE team is responsible for the ability to produce product in the new operation. We are incorporating the Daikin assembly method in our new operation and remaining very vertically integrated.

Responsibilities include all aspects of operations for our 80% furnace and residential air handler production. Working closely with Daikin to roll out new product offerings and implementing different approaches to lean manufacturing including mix model sequencing and production.Our operation enjoyed record setting production volumes in all air handler products while also doubling our SKU offerings. 4 new production lines have moved to our operation from other locations within the Goodman family.

Currently responsible for our Variable Refrigerant Volume heat pump model production, as well as managing the launch of our VRV heat recovery models. My Six Sigma Black Belt certification has served the project well. This is a Daikin branded product. Interaction with Daikin Japan and Daikin Europe has helped the success of our heat pump launch. Our VRV team has successfully completed the quickest VRV launch in Daikin history. The VRV line is a single piece flow, mixed model and sequenced line. This line is more vertically integrated than any other VRV line within the Daikin locations. All heat exchangers, piping assemblies, control boxes and sub-assemblies are built and pulled in sequence to the main assembly line. Experience managing two independent departments (Coils and Tubing / Wiring) with responsible for the safety, quality, cost and delivery of over 550 employees during peak cooling season. Leader of the Cooling Plant's scrap initiatives, Leak Free Production program and Strategic Planning deployment.

Lynchburg Operation 2008-August 2009Managed the multi-shift, 273 employee, VA operation improving labor dollars as a percent of sales dollars from 11% to 9.8%. EBITDA continued to remain at or above13% through the housing downturn due to aggressive supply chain management and decisive labor reductions.

Huntingburg Components and Assy. & Jasper Finishing Operations 2003-2008Manage 2 independent operations including production, engineering, quality, safety, accounting, and planning for frameless RTA and fully assembled cabinetry as well as component supply chain and finishing. The component operation has realized over $425,000 in Continuous Improvement savings as well as managing over $350,000 below budget results all while increasing company wide sales by 12% in 2005. Six Sigma Black Belt 2002-2003Direct Six Sigma projects using data, statistics, and various Six Sigma tools including Process Mapping, pFMEA and Design of Experiments to improve productivity, reduce waste, and ultimately save money. My teams have saved the company in excess of $330,000 hard savings.

Responsible for 870-employee night shift operation at corporation's largest assembly facility.Responsibilities include productivity, safety, schedule completion, and quality.

Responsible for the productivity, safety, and quality of work for a 75-employee manufacturing operation.

Implemented the ISO 9002 quality system and coordinated the direction of the quality team. Maintained corrective action system which focused on continuous improvement.
