I am responsible for identifying opportunities and developing solutions in a refinery setting with a goal ofmaximizing unit on stream time and optimizing unit economics in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. I have been assigned to the FCC and HF Alky units since January 2019 and previously spent 5 years covering the Naphtha Hydrotreater, CCR and Par Isom. I am the back up for our economics and planning engineer, which affords me the opportunity to run LP models to optimize our crude slate, manage raw feed, intermediate and finished product inventories and oversee gasoline blending.I have a proven ability to optimize equipment operations and maximize yields. I have successfully coordinated projects that satisfied the diverse needs of different groups within the refinery including operations, commercial, maintenance, accounting, etc.

One of my current projects is designing all of the piping for a new 40,000 bbl diesel storage tank. I have coordinated with Management, Engineers, Operations Supervisors and Construction Project Managers to develop a plan for yielding to the tank, transferring between tanks, circulating the tank and pumping to the Pipeline. Different factions in the refinery have different interests. I developed a plan that satisfied all of their needs. I was responsible for analyzing the hydraulics for the whole system to determine if the pumps that were planned for the project were adequate and where they should be placed. I am also the MOC owner for this project, as well as many others.
