I'm ever and will always be the grateful recipient of those further up and further in. I've been built from the ground up, whittled with every experience into a leader, looking, listening and gleaning as much as I can along the way. In every context I've paid attention to the life and habits of the achievers. Whether 3 star admirals, ships captains, selfless pastors, brilliant professors, determined entrepreneurs, MBA's, determined and diligent plumbers and electricians, all having excelled at their craft and calling. From the deck of the USS Blue Ridge traveling thousands of nautical miles around continents and through the straits of Southeast Asia before I turned 21, to being the first person in my family to get a college degree, to a student president of our college campus ministry, then upon graduation continuing on to grow and develop business for companies like John Deere, Caterpillar and Cummins Engines, Leeps Supply and now as a District Sales Manager with Viega LLC. Whether it's John Deere bulldozers grading jobsites, Caterpillar power systems for commercial buildings, Cummins engines for industrial applications, trucking companies, mines and quarries of Appalachian East Tennessee or providing plumbers with whatever they need to channel water toward a cleaner more connected community in Chicagoland at Leeps Supply Corp and Viega LLC. I'm so fortunate, every step of the way, I'm grateful for being apart of organizations that provided me with men and woman that have sculpted and mentored me into an expressive and resilient leader. One who enjoys seeing the ideas of others take flight. I've learned the value of leveraging the gifting's and strengths of others to produce the best path forward. Because of that I thrive most in environments where there are less constraints which allows for innovation, and ideation where wonder and collaboration are allowed to breathe. Knowing there's a wider world out there compels me to lead with curiosity and innovation as a big picture perceiver as I push further up and further in.
