Obtained Bachelor and Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Hydrology/Water Resources. Worked for a small consulting business part time during Masters and went full time once complete. Worked on projects ranging from Elementary School Site Layout to the first Low Impact Stormwater Development design in North Carolina. The City of Charlotte was an early adopter of Phase 1 and Phase 2 stormwater regulations which provided a strong regulatory/design background for stormwater projects. In 2007, I moved to Western North Carolina and worked on a wide array of projects, but this time in steep terrain. Specialties include Site layout and grading on steep slopes, permitting well water systems for Non Transient, Community Water Systems, created multiple innovative stormwater design solutions and performed the duties of a typical Site Designer.In 2020, I took 6 months off following an illness that caused severe fatigue and cognitive issues. Formed Travis Maxwell PE, PLLC and have been a consultant and trainer for Civil Site and Survey Software and as a Civil Engineering Consultant on small engineering projects.Current work is predominately Site Development for Agribusiness.
