Mediabase is a media collection management platform which uses Kaltura to process, host and deliver complex media collections for faculty-member clients. Two of my University of Toronto clients, needed to integrate collaboratively-built bibliographic citation libraries with their drupal community sites. Member of small team that internationalized Lavalife's entire internet-dating web application and deployed five localized versions of the site in one year including versions for France, Australia, UK and French Canada. Individually internationalized Lavalife's Instant Messaging Applet.Designed and wrote Lavalife's multiple step Javascript widget for users to select country, state/province and city information from a worldwide database of cities during registration. This greatly improved search results by eliminating the data inconsistency allowed through free text input of users' city names.Researched and wrote a key strategy document detailing how to employ Search Engine Optimization techniques (SEO). Quickly implemented improvements to title tags, page copy and navigation that raised the site's rankings in the search engines. My proactive identification and solution of a crucial business problem impacted the entire process of new page creation from creative design to copy writing to html coding.
