My Job consists of:- Crafting compelling social media posts and multimedia content through the NBA app and/or Instagram.- Implementing strategies to boost engagement and reach to audiences across the globe- Analyzing performance metrics to create better content and form new strategies.- Collaborating with cross-functional teams from around the world to align messaging and campaigns for the NBA's brand

Being a Pro Sports Fans Intern, I was able to demonstrate my capabilities as a writer and take on new challenges. This internship challenged me to:- Produce two weekly articles, creating a consistent schedule to deliver content for the sports community.- Was able to engage with fellow sports enthusiasts across multiple chat rooms, which created a vibrant and interactive online community of people passionate about the sports they love.- Planned and executed a weekly stream, which allowed me to develop strong organizational skills- Gained a better sense of responsibility by taking ownership of individual projects, contributing to the overall success of the sports content team.-Throughout the internship, I attained a clearer understanding of the sports industry, which aligned with my personal goals for the sports industry

Through my Sports Analytics Internship, I saw another side of the sports industry. It was here that I learned:• To do essential office tasks specialized in, stat-keeping, crafting game previews, and organizing schedules for upcoming team matchups.• Was able to demonstrate attention to detail and gain organizational skills by maintaining accurate and statistical records during live games.• Collaborated with announcers broadcasting Marist sports home games on ESPN• Was able to contribute to the overall efficiency of Marist Athletics operations, playing a key role in the preparation andexecution for games throughout the season.• Learned how to be proficient in multitasking and time management, handling new responsibilities in the dynamic environment of collegiate sports.

This course with Mr Rivezzo is where I first learned about the sports industry. It was here that I:- Gained skills in video editing, highlight creation, and scriptwriting for rundowns under the guidance of ESPN producer Chris Rivezzo.- Became proficient in industry standard tools such as Adobe software and Final Cut Pro-Learned skills in real-world scenarios through camera work with Marist Athletics, contributing to game content uploaded to ESPN+
