I am a licensed MFT specializing in the treatment of Anxiety, Trauma, Dissociation, Psychophysiological conditions, Behavioral Medicine, Stress Management, Grief work and Conflict Resolution. I have been licensed and practicing since 1980. I hold national level certification in Biofeedback through BCIA since 1982. I completed Levels I & II EMDR Training in 1996 through the EMDR Institute. I studied traditional hypnosis in 1980 through The International College for Hypnosis and completed their basic hypnosis training. Then in 1994, I completed the Basic Ericksonian Hypnosis and Psychotherapy and the Trauma and Dissociation module through the Southern California Association for Ericksonian Hypnosis and Psychotherapy. Since that time I've attended extensive continuing education dealing with EMDR, Hypnosis, Trauma, Mind/body therapies, and Interpersonal neurobiology.I am on nearly every managed care panel in Southern California. I have worked at the Center for Behavior Medicine since 1984 and see patients in both the Whittier and Yorba Linda locations. I also sell Alpha-Stim's, which are units that allow their users to enter into an alpha state in a matter of minutes, with all the attendant health and stress management benefits.
