I work as a process engineer on PCBAs ensuring that the products are assembled properly, without defects, in a timely manner. I attend to prototype builds for new products and implement time and money saving processes with the assistance from 5S and Lean philosophies.

I assist full time mechanical engineers in product design and development. My responsibilities range from base design of LED billboard signs, improvements on these designs, engineering changes, prototyping, and testing.

I worked with senior engineers to make the assembly line process run more efficiently. I implemented processes such as Lean and 5S on the floor ranging from simple operator process changes to machine layout reorganizations. In order to do this time studies, OSHA regulations, and cost feasibility had to be considered.

I worked with the maintenance crew performing the necessary work to keep the assembly line running. I performed preventative maintenance on over 60 different machines. I also had to troubleshoot problems when a machine stops working in a timely manner to not stop the entire line for longer than necessary.
