I have just started my master's in Systems Engineering at UMBC, building on my recent graduation from West Virginia University (WVU), where I developed a strong passion for robotics and full-stack development. During my time at WVU, I worked as a research assistant in the aerospace and robotics lab, playing a key role in developing an autonomous drone for the Defend the Republic drone competition. In this project, I utilized OpenCV for object detection and ROS2 to enhance system performance. My hands-on experience in these areas has equipped me with a strong foundation in robotics and software development, which I am eager to expand upon through my graduate studies.
