Student (John Burroughs) and Athlete (Saint Louis Scott Gallagher ECNL 07B) with a passion for entrepreneurship.My passion for entrepreneurship is fueled by three primary characteristics: the desire to create, and the willingness to grind, and the hunger to win. Firstly, there is little I love more than making things, whatever that may imply. When I see things, my mind goes to: how can I improve that? or change that? In the future, I hope to build something new, something that will positively benefit as many people as possible. But, I understand that my creative ambitions and desires to make, can only be brought to fruition if coupled by unrelenting hard work. Especially in the classroom, I am willing, excited even, to put in as many hours as possible. I am inclined to struggle, to be bored, and to be set back. Ultimately, I know that hours, hard work, and the lessons learned from failure will accumulate into a win. And for me, nothing tastes sweeter than victory. Victory in the classroom, victory on the soccer pitch, victory amongst my friends and peers. I want to be the best, to win. It is the combination of these three characteristics—creation, grind, and the pursuit of victory—that leads me to want to become an entrepreneur.At the present moment, I am working on developing ideas I have for various problems in my life. I hope to turn some of these ideas into incredible products and use them to help those facing my same struggles.
