In my hybrid role as both a digital and broadcast content producer my duties include creating content for and managing the flow of newscasts and web content. In my digital role I cover breaking news with accurate and compelling articles/push alerts, craft text, photo, and/or video posts for our social media pages, follow up on viewer tips sent in through emails or direct messages, pitch and brainstorm ideas to help increase web traffic and audience engagement. As a broadcast producer I create and showcase on-air content utilizing editorial, journalistic, organizational, and communication skills. I am used to performing on tight deadlines while demonstrating creativity and strong editorial judgment with an understanding of journalistic ethics and libel laws. In both roles I work closely with the Executive Producer and News Director in addition to having direct communication with Technical Media Producers, Assignment Manager, Reporters, and other news staff to determine content needs and how to most effectively deliver on those needs. I also correspond with governmental and corporate public information officers.

At The Shorthorn I created strategies and content for use in The Shorthorn's marketing. This included coming up with social media posts, and writing online blog content. I also worked in person events to promote The Shorthorn and its products.

At UTA's art gallery my main duties are to watch over the art gallery to ensure the safety of the exhibits in the gallery. I also provide information about the art to anyone who asks, and I greet anyone who views the gallery. Whenever we change from one exhibit to the next I will also help move platforms, repaint walls, and other general upkeep for the gallery.

As a reporter at The Shorthorn my duties were to find and write articles about my given beat. This included communicating and maintaining professional relationships with many relevant parties as well as writing and editing.

I was the Entertainment Editor on The Flare, Kilgore College's Student Newspaper. My duties included laying out pages, proofreading, editing, writing articles, and taking photos. Being the entertainment editor I was also on the Editorial Staff so I decided what ideas we would pitch for articles and I corresponded with several reporters and photographers.
