Assist developing compliance strategy for internal audit. Manage major compliance audits. Conduct physician audits, pulling samples of physician payments, contracts, and reconciling information to ensure contracts/payments are executed correctly. Audit Political Action Committees to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Conduct property management audits, reviewing contracts for physicians renting space inside HCA properties, and ensuring proper payments, collections and contract compliance. Manage direct reports, including interviewing, participating in panel debrief conversations, onboarding, coaching, and conducting performance reviews. Directly manage a cross-functional team based on each specific project/audit. Previous HCA roles included Senior Manager, Manager, and Senior Internal Auditor II. Each role has been similar with the biggest variation being growing scope and scale of auditing responsibility. • Assist preparing the annual Financial Compliance team budget and audit plan• Work collaboratively to produce executive level reports for CEO, COO, Divisional Management, and Government Agencies • Prevent state and federal fines by identify risk and mitigating compliance risks • Work closely with external legal, accounting, and consulting organizations regarding regulatory risks.• Facilitate training including Internal Audit staff, regarding Stark, Anti-kickback regulations, and physician transactions

Worked in a business-to-business environment providing 3rd party accounting solutions including financial audits of private and public entities with preparation of balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements.
